Garry Executive Search has been retained by a well-established, fee-only wealth management firm in Austin, TX to recruit a Client Service Associate to support a growing advisory team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in wealth management operations or client service who enjoys being at the center of the client experience and wants to grow long-term within a collaborative, team-oriented firm.

The Opportunity

This role sits within a highly collaborative wealth management environment where every client is served by a team, not an individual advisor. The Client Service Associate plays a key role in supporting advisors, ensuring a smooth client experience, and keeping day-to-day operations running efficiently.

You’ll have exposure to multiple areas of the business—including onboarding, account maintenance, portfolio administration, and client communication—while working closely with advisors and operations professionals.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Support client onboarding, including account opening, transfers, and system updates
  • Process client paperwork and account maintenance with custodians
  • Serve as a point of contact for clients via phone and email
  • Maintain accurate client information and task notes in the CRM
  • Coordinate with custodians to ensure timely and accurate processing
  • Assist with portfolio system maintenance and reporting updates
  • Support internal teams with document management and workflow organization

Background They’re Looking For

  • Prior experience in wealth management, financial services, or a related client service role
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Experience with CRM systems and portfolio reporting platforms (Tamarac, Salesforce, or similar) is a plus
  • Experience working with Schwab and/or Fidelity is a plus

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $65,000–$85,000 (plus bonus)
  • Bonus eligibility
