Garry Executive Search is partnering with a respected independent RIA serving high-net-worth families with complex planning needs to recruit a Senior Operations Associate to join their team.
About the Firm
This is a tight-knit, high-performing RIA serving high-net-worth client households. The practice operates much like a family office. Clients often carry complex structures including irrevocable trusts, LLCs, multi-entity ownership arrangements, and sophisticated estate plans. Operations here isn’t a support function, it’s the backbone of everything the firm does.
You’ll be part of a collaborative team environment supporting sophisticated client structures while helping maintain the operational backbone of a growing RIA practice.
What You’ll Do:
• Execute operational workflows supporting high-net-worth client accounts
• Manage account maintenance involving trusts, LLCs, and multi-entity ownership structures
• Coordinate with custodians on account administration, transfers, and service requests
• Work alongside attorneys, CPAs, and other professional partners tied to client relationships
• Assist in improving internal operational processes and workflows
• Support and mentor a junior operations team member
• Handle detailed documentation related to estate planning and entity structures
• Support client service requests tied to operational matters
What You Bring:
• Approximately 4–5 years of experience in RIA operations or wealth management operations
• Experience working directly with custodians and account administration workflows
• Familiarity with trust accounts, LLC structures, and estate planning documentation
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• A problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn complex financial structures
• Series 65 preferred (or willingness to obtain)
• Stable work history and strong communication skills
Compensation & Benefits:
• Base Salary: $80,000 – $125,000
• Bonus: Approximately 20% target bonus
• Target Total Compensation: ~$110,000–$115,000
• Compensation growth aligned with increased responsibility and long-term career development within the firm
Location:
Edina, MN – This role is fully in-office due to the collaborative nature of the team and the complexity of the operational work.
